The Youth Ministry took shape on 26 August 2001. In 2004, the ministry changed its name to The Next Generation (TNG) to reflect the significance of the youth as the next generation of leaders. In December 2007, the TNG worship service moved to the Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' School (Secondary) concert hall. This move was the realization of the church vision to extend our pastoral and outreach ministry to the harvest field at the school. Today, the TNG department also has its offices at PLMGSS to facilitate building of relationships between the TNG staff, comprising a Youth Director and three executives, the Christian Ministry Staff at the school, the teachers and the students.
