Let
us hold fast the confession
of our hope without wavering,
for He who promised is faithful;
and let us consider how
to stimulate one another
to love and good deeds,
not forsaking our own assembling
together, as is the habit
of some, but encouraging
one another: and all the
more as you see the day
drawing near. |

Christmas Caroling to the Home-Bound |
WSCS Programmes for 2011
Cradle Roll – We seek to bless newborns and their mother through visitation and a gift, prayer and encouragement, following through on the first three years with child and mother.
Visitation to the Elderly, Home-Boundu> – We desire to bring God's love and joy to the elderly, home-bound, through visitations, prayer and befriending them. During the Christmas season, we bring Christmas rejoicing to them through our WSCS Christmas Caroling to the Home-Bound activity.
WSCS Breakfast Counter – We coordinate the breakfast counter, where each Sunday, different cell groups, joyfully prepare, serve and sell breakfast to church goers. We serve the WPSD Celebration breakfast to bless all who come, and donations are set aside for WSCS Missions.
Adhoc Events – Through our Fellowship High Tea, we grow in the fellowship of women. We also participate and volunteer in activities organized by others, such as GC WSCS’ visit to St John’s Home for the Elderly, and TRAC WSCS’ Women’s Conference – Awake, Abide, Arise!, as well as GYM’s Coffee Corner at the Covenant Kindergarten.
Blessing Bag & Funding
We will continue to fund our activities through the Blessing Bags project. The Blessing Bags are normally dispatched to all women (25 years and above) in the church at the beginning of April. 10% of these Collections will be given to Emmaus Women Centre, Cambodia to provide spiritual & life skills training to impoverished women.
