Objectives

1.
To provide a secure and conducive environment for the holistic development of each child physically, socially, morally, emotionally and intellectually.
2.
To provide an affordable Student Care Programme to meet the "child care" needs of the families in the community.
3.
To provide supervised care for children, aged 7 to 14 years, before or after school hours, so as to enable parents of these children to be engaged in full-time jobs.
4. To support and promote parent-child relationships.

Programmes

Supervised Study Time
An hour or more is allotted for the completion and learning of schoolwork. Our staff will guide the students in their studies, and help children in their weaker subjects.

Meals, Bath and Nap Time
We provide nutritious meals and tea breaks at our centre to ensure that the children are well taken care of physically. We also incorporate bath time and nap time into our schedule as part of physical well-being.

Activity Time

We offer enrichment activities such as:

  • Creative Writing
  • Speech and Drama
  • Group Singing
  • Indoor and Outdoor Games
  • Arts Appreciation
  • Tuition

Reading Programme
This aims to cultivate a love for reading in the children. The Centre's library is well stocked with books that cater to the varied ages and interests of children.

Character-building Programme
About an hour a week is allotted for this purpose. This is an essential aspect of a child's development. It is one of our goals that children attending our centre develop positive values such as integrity and moral uprightness, and behavioural traits of sharing, co-operation, responsibility for self and others, care for others etc.

Character-building brings Success.

Holiday Programmes
During the school holidays, we bring the children on field trips, excursions, camps and conduct other fun and enriching activities.

Fees
The monthly fee per child is S$250. For low-income families, subsidies from the Ministry of Community Development and Sports (MCDS) are available. The centre charges monthly fees of S$280 for the June and December holidays due to additional activities.
